Our Story
Garcia House of Refuge, founded by Joaquin Garcia, operates with a steadfast commitment to serving the at-risk and low-income populations of Anaheim, California. Established with a vision of creating a community where everyone has access to safe housing and supportive services, it offers a comprehensive array of programs aimed at empowering individuals and families facing homelessness and poverty.
With multiple housing facilities and support centers strategically located throughout Anaheim, the organization provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, and a range of supportive services tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
Through compassionate care and personalized case management, Garcia House of Refuge equips its residents with the resources and skills necessary to break the cycle of homelessness and rebuild their lives.
Additionally, the organization conducts community outreach initiatives, advocates for systemic change, and collaborates with local stakeholders to raise awareness about homelessness and address its root causes.
